The contribution reconstructs the history of the third page of «La Patria», «daily for the army» (based in via Ricasoli in Florence) which sees the light on 24 February 1945 and which lasts until 30 September 1945, for a total of 185 numbers. L’articolo ripercorre le fasi essenziali dal lungo viaggio (durato poco più di sessant’anni) compiuto da Giorgio Luti nel cuore della cultura letteraria fiorentina e italiana del Novecento, senza normative distinzioni tra l’esercizio della critica militante e quello del magistero universitario, che ha coinvolto scolari di più generazioni. Prendendo le mosse dagli anni della sua formazione alla scuola di Giuseppe De Robertis e della collaborazione a giornali e riviste come Il Mattino dell’Italia Centrale e Inventario, viene ricostruita la fisionomia di uno studioso che, con i suoi scritti sulle riviste letterarie del Novecento, su D’Annunzio, Svevo, Tozzi, è stato tra i padri fondatori della critica della letteratura contemporanea.

The article retraces the essential stages of the long journey (lasting just over sixty years) undertaken by Giorgio Luti in the heart of Florentine and Italian literary culture of the twentieth century, without standardizing distinctions between the practice of militant criticism and that of university teaching, which has involved pupils of multiple generations. Starting from the years of his education at Giuseppe De Robertis's school and his collaboration with newspapers and magazines like Il Mattino dell’Italia Centrale and Inventario, the profile of a scholar is reconstructed who, with his writings on twentieth-century literary magazines, on D'Annunzio, Svevo, and Tozzi, was among the founding fathers of contemporary literary criticism.

Il contributo si sofferma sul trattamento lessicografico di tale particolare materiale lessicale, mettendone a fuoco i criteri, i problemi metodologici e i risultati in acquisizione (anche alla luce del recente finanziamento PRIN, specificamente inteso alla valorizzazione della lezioni alternative lessicalmente rilevanti). La prima edizione critica dei più di 1100 testi poetici intonati dai polifonisti del Trecento e del primo Quattrocento, in corso nell’ambito del progetto ERC Advanced Grant ArsNova, ha permesso di precisare il corpus dei madrigali con più ritornelli intercalati nel corpo del testo dopo i singoli terzetti, e di definirne le caratteristiche formali. L’articolo offre inoltre l’edizione critica di otto madrigali (testo poetico e testo musicale).

The first critical edition of more than 1100 poetic texts set to music by 14th- and early 15th-century polyphonists, underway as part of the ERC Advanced Grant ArsNova project, has made it possible to specify the corpus of madrigals with multiple refrains interposed in the body of the text after each tercet, and to define their formal characteristics. The article also offers the critical edition of eight madrigals (poetic text and musical text).
