Viene ripercorsa l’intera attività scientifica di Oreste Macrí, italianista, ispanista, francesista, teorico della letteratura. Viene sottolineata la vastità della sua cultura, la ricchezza dei riferimenti letterari e filosofici presenti in ogni sua pagina critica, la generosità di alcune sue teorie (in particolare di quella delle generazioni).  Importante il ruolo da lui svolto all’interno della terza generazione poetica del Novecento: l’ermetismo, che contribuì a fondare e di cui è stato tra i maggiori studiosi. Non è trascurato neppure l’aspetto privato, il ruolo riservato alle dimore vitali, la passione per l’insegnamento, il debito forte che hanno verso di lui generazioni di allievi e studiosi.

This essay traces the scholarly work of Oreste Macrí, an Italianist, a Hispanist, a French scholar, and a literary theorist. It highlights the vastness of his culture, the richness of the literary and philosophical references present in every critical page, and the generosity of some of his theories (particularly that of generations). He played a significant role in the third generation of twentieth-century poetry: Hermeticism, which he helped found and of which he was a leading scholar. Nor is his private life overlooked, the importance given to living quarters, the passion for teaching, and the deep debt owed to him by generations of students and scholars.

L'articolo si sofferma sulla figura di Oreste Macrí evidenziandone i diversi aspetti e sottolineando in particolare il suo ruolo di critico, traduttore e professore. Evidenzia le basilari caratteristiche del suo metodo, la passione per la poesia e il costante impegno nella didattica. Ripercorre i rapporti di amicizia che lo legarono a molti poeti spagnoli di cui spesso studiò e divulgò l’opera.

The article focuses on Oreste Macrí, highlighting his various aspects and emphasizing in particular his role as a critic, translator, and professor. It highlights the fundamental characteristics of his method, his passion for poetry, and his commitment to teaching. It traces the friendships that bound him to many Spanish poets, whose works he often studied and disseminated.

Oreste Macrí ha insegnato Lingua e Letteratura spagnola presso l’Università di Firenze per più di trent’anni. In occasione delle celebrazioni dei cento anni dell’Ateneo fiorentino, si ricorda il maestro sotto il profilo scientifico, didattico e umano.

Oreste Macrí taught Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Florence for more than thirty years. On the occasion of the Florentine University's 100th anniversary celebrations, the master is remembered in scientific, didactic and human terms.

Questi interventi sono il frutto di una giornata di studi tenutasi presso l’Università di Firenze, dal titolo: Due maestri di letterature neolatine: Oreste Macrí e Arnaldo Pizzorusso. L’evento, che si inserisce nel contesto dell’iniziativa Un secolo d’eccellenza. I grandi umanisti dell’Università di Firenze coordinata dal Direttore del Dipartimento di Lettere e Filosofia (DILEF) prof. Simone Magherini nell’ambito degli eventi per il centenario dell’Università di Firenze, fu organizzato nell’ambito delle attività promosse dalla sezione di Letteratura italiana e Romanistica. Per l’occasione, allieve e allievi hanno ricordato i due Maestri dell’Ispanistica e della Francesistica fiorentina e la profonda impronta lasciata dal loro magistero in intere generazioni di studenti.

These presentations are the result of a study day held at the University of Florence entitled: Two masters of neo-Latin literature: Oreste Macrí and Arnaldo Pizzorusso. The event, which is part of the initiative: A century of excellence. The great humanists of the University of Florence coordinated by the Director of the Department of Literature and Philosophy (DILEF) Prof. Simone Magherini as part of the events for the centenary of the University of Florence, was organised as part of the activities promoted by the Italian and Romance Literature section. For the occasion, students remembered the two masters of Spanish and French studies in Florence and the profound mark left by their teaching on entire generations of students.

In occasione dei 100 anni dell’Università di Firenze si ricostruisce il profilo dello studioso, con particolare riferimento ai classici che furono i suoi modelli, in un contesto socio-storico particolarmente ostile, che fu quello del Sessantotto.

On the occasion of the first centenary of the University of Florence, the scholar's profile is reconstructed, with particular reference to the classics that were his models, in a particularly hostile socio-historical context, that of 1968.

L’articolo ricostruisce il lavoro legato al progetto Percorsi letterari per una fruizione “aumentata” dei beni artistici, nell'ambito delle iniziative di ricerca nell’ambito dei finanziamenti PNRR (PE 5, Spoke 4) e, in questo caso, diretto alla valorizzazione e alla diffusione presso un pubblico non specialista dell’opera di Aldo Palazzeschi. Oltre a dare ragione dell’esposizione in modalità mista, dal titolo A.L.D.O., chiarendone principi, struttura e percorsi, imposta alcune osservazioni su modalità e finalità di apertura di spazi storico-letterari al grande pubblico.

This article reconstructs the work associated with the project Percorsi letterari per una fruizione “aumentata” dei beni artistici, which is linked to research initiatives funded by the PNRR (PE 5, Spoke 4) and, in this case, aims to promote and disseminate Aldo Palazzeschi's work to a non-specialist audience. In addition to explaining the mixed-method exhibition titled A.L.D.O. (explaining its principles, structure, and approaches), it offers some observations on the methods and purposes of opening historical-literary spaces to the general public.
