Abstract

L'estetica di Ortega y Gasset si inserisce con originalità nel dibattito modernista della prima metà del Novecento. Il paper segue lo sviluppo del pensiero di Ortega Y Gasset avendo come focus il saggio del 1925 La deshumanización del arte, in cui il filosofo spagnolo cerca di fornire una sintesi concettuale dell'arte dell'avanguardie attraverso una precisa grammatica teorica: la metafora poetica, l’oggetto estetico, l’arte come principio di irrealtà.

The aesthetics of Ortega y Gasset is part, with originality, of the modernist debate of the first half of the twentieth century. The paper follows the development of Ortega Y Gasset's thought having as focus the essay of 1925 "La deshumanización del arte", in which the Spanish philosopher tries to provide a conceptual synthesis of avant-garde art through a precise theoretical grammar: poetic metaphor, aesthetic object, art as principle of unreality.

Oreste Macrí ha insegnato Lingua e Letteratura spagnola presso l’Università di Firenze per più di trent’anni. In occasione delle celebrazioni dei cento anni dell’Ateneo fiorentino, si ricorda il maestro sotto il profilo scientifico, didattico e umano.

Oreste Macrí taught Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Florence for more than thirty years. On the occasion of the Florentine University's 100th anniversary celebrations, the master is remembered in scientific, didactic and human terms.

L'articolo si sofferma sulla figura di Oreste Macrí evidenziandone i diversi aspetti e sottolineando in particolare il suo ruolo di critico, traduttore e professore. Evidenzia le basilari caratteristiche del suo metodo, la passione per la poesia e il costante impegno nella didattica. Ripercorre i rapporti di amicizia che lo legarono a molti poeti spagnoli di cui spesso studiò e divulgò l’opera.

The article focuses on Oreste Macrí, highlighting his various aspects and emphasizing in particular his role as a critic, translator, and professor. It highlights the fundamental characteristics of his method, his passion for poetry, and his commitment to teaching. It traces the friendships that bound him to many Spanish poets, whose works he often studied and disseminated.

Questi interventi sono il frutto di una giornata di studi tenutasi presso l’Università di Firenze, dal titolo: Due maestri di letterature neolatine: Oreste Macrí e Arnaldo Pizzorusso. L’evento, che si inserisce nel contesto dell’iniziativa Un secolo d’eccellenza. I grandi umanisti dell’Università di Firenze coordinata dal Direttore del Dipartimento di Lettere e Filosofia (DILEF) prof. Simone Magherini nell’ambito degli eventi per il centenario dell’Università di Firenze, fu organizzato nell’ambito delle attività promosse dalla sezione di Letteratura italiana e Romanistica. Per l’occasione, allieve e allievi hanno ricordato i due Maestri dell’Ispanistica e della Francesistica fiorentina e la profonda impronta lasciata dal loro magistero in intere generazioni di studenti.

These presentations are the result of a study day held at the University of Florence entitled: Two masters of neo-Latin literature: Oreste Macrí and Arnaldo Pizzorusso. The event, which is part of the initiative: A century of excellence. The great humanists of the University of Florence coordinated by the Director of the Department of Literature and Philosophy (DILEF) Prof. Simone Magherini as part of the events for the centenary of the University of Florence, was organised as part of the activities promoted by the Italian and Romance Literature section. For the occasion, students remembered the two masters of Spanish and French studies in Florence and the profound mark left by their teaching on entire generations of students.
